SMNRA Fuelwood Permit 2026
The public fuelwood program reduces community fire hazards and improves overall forest ecosystem health. Permits are available for personal use only, with a limit of two cords per household.
Permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and by appointment only.
Appointments will be in-person at 4701 N. Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89130

IMPORTANT DATES
• October 7, 2026 — Appointment Sign-ups Begin• Sign-ups remain open until all slots are filled and all permits are sold.
• October 19 – October 30 (Monday – Friday) — In-Person Permit Sales Only
• Sales are conducted by appointment only during business hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.•
November 2 – November 14 — Fuelwood Collection & Pick-up

• Do Not Arrive Early: The building is closed. Do not arrive prior to your scheduled appointment time.• No Refunds: Once a personal fuelwood permit is purchased, it cannot be refunded if it goes unused.• Pack It Out: Help keep the National Recreation Area clean by taking all of your garbage home with you.
