HELPFUL MATERIALS FOR LIVING IN COLD CREEK

Cold Creek is a beautiful mountain oasis, a respite from the city. Sitting at 6,500' and off-grid, it is a unique environment. Whether you plan to live here full time or part time, advancing technology has made for innovative solutions and added comfort. Here are some products which have proven to be very helpful. The following are products which have been excellent for many of us, but as always, they are merely a sharing of things which we found to be helpful, and you always want to do your own due diligence. (We receive no royalties from any of these companies)

LITHIUM BATTERIES

These have become a game changer.  They store a lot of power (2 days with standard appliances for an average home), and are able to utilize a great percentage of their storage capacity.  Here is a product which we really like, and you can order it with a heater band, which I recommend so you don't have to use a secondary heating source.
